MATTEO

Matteo is entertaining, enlightening and inspiring. His funny and thought-provoking work in schools, kindergartens, libraries, parties, weddings, anything has been enjoyed around Australia and internationally.

Matteo was the original creator of Story Adventures with the Summer Fun in the Parks program and is well know for his tales under the Fairy Tree in the Fitzroy Gardens in Melbourne.

Matteo uses characterisations, vocal sound effects and mime to illustrate stories. Matteo trained in Visual Arts and has worked in theatre. He has worked with children for nearly twenty years and has been telling stories for over ten. Matteo has great rhythm and uses music and rhyme with young ones and inspires audience interaction, mentally and physically. Matteo works well with primary-aged children, keeping even Years 5 and 6 quiet!

Matteo has worked with teenage groups for 'youth services' programs in motivational workshops. He has travelled with his tales, touring the East Coast of Australia and the U.K. Feedback suggests that people remember his work for years after. His stories transport listeners to the places he describes. Matteo's very best advertising is his performance.

Matteo specialises in event design - bringing groups together and inspiring children, adults and even organisations with his imagination and humour. He works with adult groups at birthday parties, hens' nights and special events. Matteo styles himself as a classic 'fool' or 'jester' in a modern setting.
