Comments from Educators about the Storytellers...

I considered Gael's presentation at Frankston TAFE to be inspirational. Her use of voice, gestures and sound effects created for students a good visual picture. The weaving of personal and traditional stories was excellent. I definitely recommend Gael.
Jill Tacon, Frankston Campus, Chisolm Institute of TAFE

Gael, Thank you for your recent attendance at our MARC/MACC Conference. Your presentation was greatly appreciated. Everyone was spellbound from your first story. It will inspire some of our members to have a go at storytelling themselves.
Diana Shandley, Tarwin Valley Primary School

This is a note of appreciation on behalf of the preschool support program and the additional assistants to Cindy-Lee. I was so pleased that you were able to be the first workshop session on our inservice training day. It lifted the energy and gave us all a lot of pleasure. Later, people kept coming to me with comments about how they were remembering this or that sequence in a story as though they were still in the space that you had created for them to work in. Like the proverbial stone in the pond, this workshop in going to go on reverberating for a long time. Many thanks.
Del Nightingale, Coordinator Preschool Support Program,
Southern Metro Region, Brotherhood of St. Laurence.

Jackie is a real treasure. Her storytelling enchants children and adults alike. Every story pulses with character and life. She establishes an immediate rapport with her audience and holds them spellbound to the very end. This is storytelling at its very best.
Hanee Selvarajoo, Children's Services Librarian,
City of Greater Dandenong Libraries
